In 2016, SLWAFA partnered with IWSC Group North America, a globally-recognized events company dedicated to delighting, inspiring and connecting people and brands through great experiences, to expand and enrich the Sugar Land Wine & Food Affair weekend. Through this partnership, the weekend will shift its focus to celebrating the local flavors and international influences of greater Fort Bend by bringing both regional and national talent to tell their stories through food and beverage. We are excited for the opportunity to have you join us!

Thank you so much for volunteering with us! Let's talk a bit more about the Volunteer Pourers role. This position requires you to be TABC Certified in accordance with Texas law. You'll be stationed at exhibitor and vendor tables to pour their products. 15 pourers will be specifically serving beer and the remaining volunteers will pour wine. You’ll report to the Beverage and Inventory Manager, Sarah Beth, and the Volunteer Leadership Team. Here’s a little more about your role.
Your Responsibilities Volunteer Pourers will pour products for exhibitors and vendors in the Grand Tasting as well as Sip & Stroll and Bistro Brunch.
Role-Specific Requirements • Be TABC Certified • Be friendly, courteous and have a positive attitude • Be flexible and willing to pitch in wherever needed • Be able to do heavy-lifting (30+ pounds) • Be comfortable getting messy!
